AT THE STARTREGISTRATION

TRANSPORT TO THE START

Arrival to the start for all participants, is in their own arrangements.

Organizer will provide transportation from the finish line back to Bohinjska Bistrica (Railway station).

For Hercules format, transport will be a combination of a shuttle (Kobarid - Most na Soči) and train (Most na Soči - Boh. Bistrica). Transportation will be organized from 27.06. afternoon to 28.06.2023 evening. Departure from Kobarid is several times a day and is tied to the train schedule. Participants will book a ticket for a specific time at the last checkpoint or the finish line.

For Pegasus format, transport will be organized by train (Most na Soči - Boh. Bistrica). Transportation will be organized on 26.06.2023, the train station is 1,5km distance from the finish line. The departure of the train from Most na Soči is several times a day. Participants will book a ticket for a specific time at the last checkpoint or at the finish line.

Check-in luggage transportation to the finish line

The Organizer will arrange transportation of a maximum one bag per participant from the start to the finish line in Kobarid / Most na Soči. The bag must not exceed 60 liters in volume and 20 kilograms in mass. Participants won't be able to reach that bag until the finish line. In case of resigning, the participant has to arrange to pick up of the luggage in Kobarid / Most na Soči by himself.

Upon registration, participants will receive an ID number that must be attached to the luggage. The luggage collection service will be located under Vogel before you enter the cable car to Vogel (please study the finish/checkpoint opening hours).

MANDATORY ON - SITE REGISTRATION

Few days before the start of the event you will receive an email which will include your BIB number and the QR code you will be asked for at the Mandatory Check-in. You will also sign a waiver and go through equipment overview (equipment marked with * is shared by UP TO 4 people) walking together.

FOOD AND WATER

I feel Slovenia HIGHLANDER Julian Alps offers meat and vegetarian options. You choose your diet preference during the registration process.

You must bring your own water to the Start (minimum 4 L).

START

HIGHLANDER Hercules hikers start their backpacking adventure on Ski resort Vogel, starting time to be announced. The best way to reach the starting point on Vogel is by cable car. Check how to come to the cable car.

In case of bad weather, the start will be in the Bohinj valley. If the start is relocated to Bohinj valley due to bad weather conditions, we will inform you about this 2 days before the event. Group start: if you wish to meet some people and walk together, please meet them at start line.

HIGHLANDER Pegasus hikers start their backpacking adventure in Bohinj. The exact location will be announced but note, the location of the start is not the same as in year 2022. Group start: if you wish to meet some people and walk together, please meet them at the start line.

As your safety is our number one priority, we reserve the right to check your equipment at the start.
