Now you can discover the spectacular landscape of Costa Rica with HIGHLANDER. An unforgettable experience awaits you in the little-known mountains of the Central Valley.
HIGHLANDER Costa Rica invites you on an adventure like no other. Wander through the unique cloud forest ecosystem and stretches of the renowned Camino de Costa Rica, spotting quetzales and sloths (if you're lucky) and immersing in a rural Costa Rica few tourists get a chance to know. Discover waterfalls and wild rivers, farming villages and local culture, at a slow, pura vida (pure life) rhythm uniquely attuned to the landscape. You won't find this route in many guides; we are here to take you off the beaten path, and into the adventure of a lifetime.

Pegasus

HIGHLANDER Pegasus format will use the second half of the Hercules format and will also make you discover the spectacular landscape of Costa Rica. A shorter but non the less unforgettable experience awaits you in the little-known mountains of the Central Valley.
HIGHLANDER Costa Rica invites you on an adventure like no other. TRANSPORT TO THE CHECK-IN AND START

Participants need to do their check-in before the start of the event at Hacienda Tapanti.

HERCULES:

from 3pm until 8pm on Monday 15.12 or from 6am to 7am on Tuesday 16.12.
Shuttle to start is included and leaves at 7am from Hacienda Tapanti. Shuttle from finish back to Hacienda Tapanti is included.

PEGASUS:

from 3pm until 8pm on Wednesday 17.12 or from 6am to 8am on Thursday 18.12. Start of Pegasus event is located at Hacienda Tapanti.
Shuttle from finish back to Hacienda Tapanti is included.

Transport to check-in is not included with your entry unless you've booked one of our travel packages.

Camping and limited accommodations available at Hacienda Tapanti the nights before or after the event.

Free secured parking at Hacienda Tapanti for the duration of the event.

TRANSPORT TO THE START & THE START TIMES

Participants of Hercules format will be transported from the check-in location Hacienda Tapanti to to the start location - Lago Don Manuel and back from the finish line at Mollejones to Hacienda Tapanti.

Participants of Pegasus format will start their journey from Hacienda Tapanti and will be transported from the finish line at Mollejones back to Hacienda Tapanti.

Transportation timetable and the start times schedule will be announced soon.

As your safety is our number one priority, we reserve the right to check your equipment at the start.
