Bear in mind that the start for Pegasus and Lyra formats is not at the same place as the Check-in. Transport from the Parking Foot Holiday Park to the start will be provided by the Organizer. Busses depart from Parking Foot Holiday Park.
Participants need to arrange their own transportation to the Check-in location.
The easiest way with public transport is to come to Penrith (bus, train).
From there, you take a bus 508 at the Rail Station, drive for 21 minutes, and get off on the Mains Farm - then walk 20 minutes to Park Foot Holiday.
The earliest you can arrive is at 07:35 - if you catch the first bus at 06:50.
The recommendation is to stay one night in Penrith or take a taxi from Penrith to Park Foot Holiday, which takes 15 minutes.
Few days before the start of the event you will receive an email that will include your BIB number and the QR code you will be asked for at the Mandatory Check-in.
Stay tuned for the Mandatory Check-in schedule.
In case you have additional luggage, please inform our staff about it during your Check-in and they will explain the further steps.
HIGHLANDER Lake District offers meat and vegan options. You choose your diet preference during the registration process.
You must bring your own water to the Start (minimum 4L / 1 gallon).
You can find more information about food and water in the event rules.
After the mandatory Check-in, participants of the Pegasus and Lyra format will be transported to the start.
As your safety is our number one priority, we reserve the right to check your equipment at the start.
