ROUTE DESCRIPTIONS
Highlander
5day
Hercules
- We will start I feel Slovenia HIGHLANDER Hercules Kamnik Savinja Alps in the beautiful surroundings of Mozirski gaj, climb first to Golte, pass the Smrekovec extinct volcano, then to Raduha and descend to the picturesque mountain village of Luče. We will continue towards Gornji Grad, across Menina planina and the village of Lipa towards Mozirje. NEW route in 2025 for the third, fourth and fifth day!
- If you would like to compare HIGHLANDER Hercules Kamniška Savinjske Alpe with Hercules in Julian Alps, this one in the Kamnik Alps is technically less demanding, but from the point of view of physical effort, it is about the same. The 2025 route is slightly LESS DEMANDING than the 2024 route.
- According to the PZS, the route is considered easy from a technical point of view, but it is necessary to be well physically prepared.

Pegasus

- We will start I feel Slovenia HIGHLANDER Orion Kamnik Savinja Alps in the beautiful surroundings of Mozirski gaj, climb first to Golte, pass the Smrekovec extinct volcano, then descend to the filishline in picturesque mountain village of Ljubno ob Savinji.
- According to the PZS, the route is considered easy from a technical point of view, but it is necessary to be well physically prepared.
TRANSPORT TO THE START
Mozirje - there is a parking lot in vicinity of the start.
Pegasus and Orion - transfer from finishline to the startline will be by public bus. Hercules is a round-tour.
STARTING TIME AND LOCATION
Hercules
The start will be on August 15th, 2025 at 8 a.m. in MOZIRSKI GAJ in Mozirje (you pass the entrance to MozirskI Gaj, where you will be directed to the start)
Pegasus
It will start on on August 15th, 2025 at 8 a.m. in MOZIRSKI GAJ in Mozirje (you pass the entrance to MozirskI Gaj, where you will be directed to the start).
Orion
It will start on on August 15th, 2025 at 8 a.m. in MOZIRSKI GAJ in Mozirje (you pass the entrance to MozirskI Gaj, where you will be directed to the start).
Hercules and Pegasus and Orion
Collection of the starter pack ON Friday 15.8.2025 from 7.00 - 8.00 am (or on 14.8. afternoon, no sleeping on site on Thursday).
-Collection of start number, ID - your "passport" with route plan (with special spaces for checkpoint stamps)
- Signing the declaration of responsibility + FOOD PACKAGE
- HIGHLANDER Map
-Inspection of equipment (equipment marked with * is shared by UP to 4 people) walking together
+ hand in a backpack (we are not responsible for valuable items!), e.g. additional shirt, shoes, swimsuit
