ROUTE DESCRIPTIONS
Highlander
5DAY
- The ultimate circular adventure that starts and ends in Masna Luka will take you through the beautiful Nature Park Blidinje.
- Its beauty is reflected in the spectacular views at Blidinje lake, leading you through the massifs of Čvrsnica and Vran.
- This circular route starts and ends in the center of Nature Park Blidinje, and allows you to pass through the forest, rocky and grass paths.
Highlander
3DAY
- Experience the Čvrsnica massif in 3 days and 2 nights!
- Starting and returning to the center of the Nature Park Blidinje, Masna Luka, this interesting route along the slopes of Čvrsnica takes you to one of the most beautiful places to watch the sunset above 2000 m/sl - Hajdučka Vrata, Lake Crvenjak and highest peak of Herzegovina, Pločno.
- With a view of Blidinje lake, the route takes you back to Masna Luka for the celebration of the HIGHLANDER title.

2DAY
- Go through the Blidinje Nature Park on one route!
- Starting and returning to the center of the Nature Park Blidinje, Masna Luka, this interesting route along the slopes of Čvrsnica takes you to one of the most beautiful places to watch the sunset above 2000 m/sl - the highest peak of Herzegovina, Pločno.
- Leaving you in awe, the route takes you back to Masna Luka for the celebration of the HIGHLANDER title.
TRANSPORT TO THE CHECK-IN AND START
Once coming to the Blidinje, there is one more thing to do before the start - a mandatory Check-in where you will receive the food for the first day, HIGHLANDER start package, etc.
You will have enough time to go through your gear, make final preparations, and plan the first day’s route.
START
As your safety is our number one priority, we reserve the right to check your equipment at the start.
CHECKPOINTS open at different time but close at 9:00 PM every day
Checkpoints are open at different time, depending on location.
All checkpoints close at 9:00 pm every day, so make sure to plan your arrival accordingly.
You have to collect all the checkpoint stamps to receive the HIGHLANDER title.
Checkpoints are open at specific times. During checkpoint working hours, our staff will assist you in obtaining your HIGHLANDER checkpoint stamp, water, and food.
Please note that if you fail to obtain the checkpoint stamp, you are disqualified and are not entitled to the HIGHLANDER title, Pin, Patch, or Certificate. The participant is the only one responsible for collecting the stamp at each checkpoint.
