PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
Public transportation option to and from the Big Bear Valley from outside of the area are very limited, including ride-share services such as Uber and Lyft.
Mountain Transit (hyperlink) offers limited bus service from the San Bernardino Transit Center. Click here to check schedules. "Off the Mountain" bus service is available Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays only.
GETTING AROUND IN BIG BEAR
Within Big Bear, Mountain Transit offers a free trolley and bus service to the most popular areas. General operating hours are from 6AM-9PM daily. Schedules can be found here.
TRANSPORT TO THE START
Each HIGHLANDER format will start in a different place.
The organizer will provide a shuttle bus to the start from the Parking location.
Please check back for the announcement of the Parking location (within Big Bear Lake). Dogs will be permitted onboard the shuttle bus.
